GIPHCC “2009 Contractor of the Year”

Indianapolis, IN [June 22, 2009] – David Heffner has been named “2009 Contractor of the Year” by the Greater Indianapolis Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors (GIPHCC).  Heffner and Associates is a plumbing company specializing in residential plumbing service work for the greater Indianapolis area since 2001.

Heffner’s mission statement for his company, Heffner and Associates, LLC, is straightforward and to the point, “unprecedented personal service and the development of long-term relationships with our customers.” The Contractor of the Year award recognizes contractors who further the mission of the GIPHCC to inform the public of the importance of using a licensed plumber.   

 

The “George A. Roesinger Contractor of the Year” award is given in honor of Roesinger who began plumbing in 1938 and continued until 1953 when Roesinger Plumbing was formed.  He served two terms as the local PHCC president, two terms as State president and two terms as national district director.  Roesinger was president of the PHCC Information Bureau, a national organization promoting the industry, and was president of the Gas Institute.  He retired in 1972 and died in 1987.

 

“I am honored and pleased to be recognized as the 2009 Contractor of the Year,” said Heffner.  “There have been some ups and downs over the past year with the impact of the economy being felt in my industry.  My goal is to simply be the best plumber in Indianapolis.”

 

Heffner has been active with the GIPHCC as a member since 2001, he is currently serving on the Board of Directors as the 2nd Vice President.

 

Indiana PHCC is a not for profit trade association that represents the professional plumbing-heating-cooling contractor and affiliated manufacturers and suppliers in the state of Indiana.  PHCC is the national trade association representing nearly 5,000 union and non-union plumbing, heating, and cooling contractors throughout the United States.  Indiana has nine PHCC chapters with the Greater Indianapolis PHCC (GIPHCC) being one of the largest PHCC locals in the state with 44 contractor members and 49 associate members.

 

David Heffner is a licensed plumbing contractor in the state of Indiana and is bonded and insured.
