I was standing at the kitchen sink this morning getting ready to make coffee when the earthquake hit. Please do a quick check of your plumbing to make sure that you don't have any leaks.
Water Heaters In Garages Most Likely For Leaks
Water heaters that are located in the garage must be on a stand or platform. Water heaters on a stand are most susceptible for gas or water leaks.
If you have a water leak, shut the water off to the house. If there is a gas leak, PLEASE remove yourself from the immediate area and call the gas company.

Check All Other Plumbing Connections And Piping
Just as a precaution, check all of your plumbing connections for faucets and toilets to make sure that there are no water leaks. If you find a leak, shut the water off to that fixture or shut the water off to the house.
Sincerely,
David Heffner
