Concrete laundry tubs are a common fixture in many of the older homes in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Although these laundry tubs are spacious and can be used for various tasks, once a leak develops, adequate repairs can be difficult or impossible.

A solution for a leaking concrete laundry tub is the complete replacement of it with either a single or double bowl sink. These sinks are made of fiberglass or thermoplastic and can be wall mounted, mounted with legs or installed in a cabinet.

With this project, the concrete tub was broken into pieces with a sledge hammer for removal/disposal. New Pex water lines were run for the new laundry tub faucet and a new drain line was installed as well. With wall mounted installations, the customer can decide the height at which to set the laundry tub to best suit particular needs and/or desires.
