Rinnai Tankless Water Heater Installation


This Rinnai Continuum tankless water heater was installed at the home of David Heffner of Heffner and Associates on January 15, 2006.

This is not a typical 1-man installation and took several days to complete. Extras include the following:

  1. Fastening of the copper pipe to the wall.
  2. Running ¾ inch black steel pipe to the Rinnai.
  3. Electrical outlet box and conduit for power.
  4. Copper pipe to the sump pit for the discharge for the temperature and pressure relief valve.
  5. Rerouting and installation of a new clothes dryer vent on another side of the house.
  6. Installation of a new fluorescent light fixture for improved lighting in the mechanical area of the basement.
